Cocktail Photography: The "Ripple Shot"
The power of film, making me thirsty once again
From an old friend in media for these kind of shots: “drop one, none, or all and run”. Basically means if you drop one, it looks more impactful than dropping 20. If you drop 400, it might give you the exact look you need, but you better run before anyone sees the mess you made!
Naww that was cool though
Awebo karnal el charro negro
What a load of bollocks .
Add more cherry
You don’t want much pith! I’ve tried the cheese slicer and the zests are too thick and they crack when you express them
Look we know what we about in Wisconsin. The fruit salad is for the Super Club and cheap bars the classic is for fine dining.
The point is that the drink has been downgraded to save on costs and cover up the taste of cheap booze. Pineapple juice is used as a stand-in for basically everything but the liquor, and you're paying through the damn nose for it. So if you're dropping mix drink cash, ask for the classic.
Thats a mexico libre
Depending on the place, hoping for right expecting left 😖
That ice needs to GTFO. That sonic ice/chewy ice, whatever, melts far too fast and waters down drinks. Drop it like it's got an STD.
Where's the overproof rum float ?
Lmaooo
Tequila and coke. Doesn't need a fancy name.
But..... but, it has a name.
So a Cuba Libre with tequila instead of rum.
Death stare.
So I guess it’s not a Batanga since the salt rim is missing?😂
That’s a tequila coke. Bruh
Oh wow, is it?! I had no idea! But it has an actual name 😜
@@cocktailcamera okay then let me introduce you to the cóc fuisce. Since we’re naming everything nowadays
Let me guess you cry over a cuba libre too ?
@@graysun9108And a Paloma.
… wtf I literally just made this… are you spying on me? xD
Yes, I'm listneing through your phone
@@cocktailcamera 😦
Ain't summer over
No? Not until early September.
Where in the world do you live?
@@PoorPurpl late September, specifically September 21 is the last day of summer. it’s funny that people think summers like the shortest season. It really just started a month ago.
@@redrum704928 it either ends on Sept 21st or August 31st, depending on where you live. Definitely not in July though xD
Where do i get that mixing glass!?
Now that's a glass!
We need to collaborate on a Tequila single barrel 🎥🥃🔥
Hipsters freak me out lol
Thats the difference between Tiki Maitai Vs. Regular Maitai..
I check to see if my flight out of Milwaukee is on time.
Comment section is brain dead lmao. The Mai tai is a brilliant, balanced cocktail that can showcase so many variations of amazing rums perfectly. If you’ve never had a correct Mai tai, you can’t really say anything about pineapple juice belonging in it. There are plenty of tiki and tropical cocktails that have pineapple in them, and they’re great too.. it’s just a Mai tai is its own thing.
After years of doing high-end filming, thinking about getting back to photography, after seeing all your work! Really inspiring.
I’ve been thinking about getting a pocket osmo too!
Uh, you need bar spoon sugar then three dash bitters, muddle that together so you have bitter sugar then you add cherry and oranges, muddle again, then add ice, pour whiskey over, preferably wild turkey 101, then shake it, pour into a chilled glass and top with some white soda or tonic! That's an old fansion Wisco style, not this video lol! 😁🍻🔥🤘🤙
To the people saying the wine glass is huge, keep in mind the perspective and that the glass is much closer to the camera so it looks bigger than it really is
Love the long form content, great vlog!
Wow super cool!
I'd be pissed, that's not a martini!
Go to a real bar
👉 right all day
Drink it down with disappointment…Unless it’s dirt cheap!
imsorry, but the wisco old fashioned is the definition of a perfectly evolved cocktail it evolved and changed to meet the needs of the people of wisconsin. brandy replaced whisky after ww2 when the whiskey supply was limited, but plenty of brandy was arround in wisconsin. the topper came later as a way to help cut the abv so you can enjoy more coctails at the supper club.
love nixta! The corn old fashion is the best a must try!
Looks neat. I'd love to try it. Don't have the bitters tho.
Those are very easy to get!
@@cocktailcamera I can't find any in my country. Or they taste off. I have my own syrup tho. I like it a lot.
drink 1 and you done
That's how Martinis are... and yet, I seldom see anyone stop at one
Enjoy it. i have tried both and have enjoyed both. Ones had a old fashioned that had an ice ball with sweet red vermouth inside. so that when you drank it slowly it would change from a old fashioned to a manhattan.
What's nixta? Can I substitute it for a better known liqueur?
Nixta is a mexican corn liquour.
It’s a corn flavored liqueur, so if you want the flavor of this drink, you’re going to have to use this or another corn liqueur. Changing this would be the biggest change to the flavor profile of this drink
When I pay between $7>$12 option 1 I won't complain about but if it =,<$16 it has to be option 2.
Just use AI 😂
No
This same dude made it with pinapple juice and malibu 2 years ago
Bahahaha, it really is kinda butt though I'll admit to enjoying the flavored vodkas only because i can add juice and pretend i made a cocktail and its not horrible and its way cheaper for me but tequila is is my favorite. Also, i have no idea how i ended up in mixology youtube but i dig it. 🤷
Nice pic
Thanks! 🙏
